Nature's Benefits: The Coconut
Here in sunny South Florida, we are blessed with an abundance of coconuts. Truly, one of the bounties of nature is the coconut, which can be used internally and externally. I enjoy the coconut, and try to use it in some form every day.

Coconut water is full of electrolytes and is very hydrating to the body. When the body is well hydrated, it functions better.
Coconut oil is soothing and nourishing to the skin. Use it as a moisturizer for the whole family. It's also great to use when shaving.
Coconut oil is also healthy for the hair. Because coconut oil has antifungal properties, it can help control dandruff.
